Hyaluronic Acid is a type of dermal filler that's safe and effective.  Fillers offer a non-surgical option to soften wrinkles, add volume, define and replace lost volume resulting in smooth, youthful looking skin or lips. 

BARE is proud to offer safe and effective, non-permanent hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers that are Health Canada Approved.  

What are Fillers used for? 

Dermal fillers are used to restore volume lost during the natural aging process.  They can enhance shape and definition to create a more youthful, balanced appearance, as well as smooth away and soften lines and wrinkles.  Lip fillers are used to add volume to your lips, restoring balance and offer a plump, hydrated, youthful smile. 

What to Expect during your appointment? 

We will complete a thorough review of your health history and review your treatment goals.  We will review potential adverse events and how to manage them should they occur. In most cases, a topical anaesthetic cream will be applied to numb the treatment area.  We will then inject the dermal filler using a small syringe, at multiple injection sites.  Pain is very minimal to none during the procedure.  We will then review post procedure care.  This appointment may last approximately 1 hour. 

Micro­blading and Powder Brows are both forms of Permanent Makeup.  They both involve implanting pigment into the skin. 

These two treatments are considered both  to be semi-permanent. 

Which service is best suited for you will depend on a few different factors.  

What look do you prefer?  Do you prefer a more natural hair stroke look?  

Microblading creates a natural look to emphasize your brows.  We create tiny hair strokes to shape and fill in your brows using a manual microblade.  Pigment is deposited into the skin through these hairstrokes.

Do you prefer a more filled in soft makeup look?  Powder Brows allow us to deposit pigment into the skin through a shading technique that creates tiny little pixelated dots for fill in and shape the brow.

What is your skin type?

If your skin is Normal to Dry you will likely be a good candidate for both microblading and Powder Brows.  If your skin is oily, you are not a suitable candidate for microblading.  Powder Brows are the way to go!

Regardless of the amount of hair present. People suffering from alopecia, trichotillomania or any other condition that causes hair loss, benefit greatly from Microbladingand powder brows, as well as people who simply aren't happy with the appearance of their eyebrows.

 The pigments used in these methods have been formulated to match your original eyebrow colour, and if the eyebrows are still present, blend perfectly into them. The results are a natural, flawless, fuller looking brow.

Initially, the brows appear darker, but fade significantly over a two week period. It is absolutely crucial to have a touch up done, as it is very difficult to predict how well the skin will retain the pigment. The results can last anywhere from 1 to 3 years for microblading and 2-4 years for Powder Brows, depending on different factors affecting the procedure. However, a touch up once a year is recommended to retain the shape and saturation of pigment. 

It is very important to follow the aftercare provided by your brow artist during the healing period.
